Waiting For Beckett
Synopsis:
Waiting for Beckett follows a teen boy, Danny, in the waiting room of a hospital after his brother, the titular character, Beckett, has been diagnosed with AIDS. In the room with him is his homophobic and desperate father, and Beckett’s outspoken, yet secret, boyfriend. Tensions arise while the three are trapped in the waiting room, awaiting a chance to visit Beckett. It’s raw, gripping, and heartbreaking, but all about family and the idea of coming together in a time when everything seems to be in shambles.
